You may have seen the Fallingwater Lego Set already, but architecture geeks, get ready, my favorite house is now available in a LEGO version. Its The Farnsworth House! Hooray!

Check out the details here.

By the way, if you are a big fan of The Farnsworth House, you can learn more about how to donate to its upkeep and how to visit here. It is pretty well recovered from a devastating flood, but Im sure that really gave their budget an unexpected wallop.

Speaking of houses Ive always wanted to gain access to, I could swear I just read somewhere about how to get into Eero Saarinens Miller House. Let me checkoh, so you can learn more here, compliments of The Indianapolis Museum of Art. Tours start May 10, and you need to make reservations. While I love the Farnsworth House and how it sits in the rather untouched flood plain (well, untouched by man, not by floods), Im dying to see the Dan Kiley landscape at The Miller House even more than I want to get into the house.

Its never too early to start planning your midwestern architectural tour. Why not fly into Chicago, check out all of the architecture there, and take a road trip to Columbus Indiana?
