More recently, power tool manufacturers have developed a line of contractor’s tools for women, but I suspect it’s a result of a market study than an indicator of acceptance.

In 1968, Michael Heizer, the artist behind Levitated Mass, made a drawing of a rock he hoped would one day emerge from the quarry he had been visiting.

Today TrendHome brings us into one of Trendlands favorite fashion designers home. Raf Simons mid-century Modernist two-story, open-floor-plan apartment in Antwerp has become his sanctuary. Simons opened his door to WSJ and we can have a peak of his wonderful art and furniture collection.

In addition to a Pierre Jeanneret sofa and chairs and Mike Kelley framed flags, the living room has a Noguchi coffee table and George Nakashimi bench.

If Raf Simons werent the influential fashion designer behind Jil Sander and his own eponymous line, hed like to be a ceramicist.
