Designed by Mesh Architectures, this modern residence has its own charisma. It wasn’t just a matter of using wooden materials that looks really splendid in this house. The charisma shown in this house was from the modern floor plan. The open floor plan inter connected between one and another through inner court yard garden.

The inner court yard garden can be seen from the kitchen and the living room due to the usage of sliding glass doors where they can be fully opened, creating a whole new different space dimension. Steve Burns’ new Brooklyn residence occupies a 2,100-square-foot of area and this charismatic house is created for the resident and his guests.

Set on the scenic slope of Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles, this perfect home design is a chic nature retreat. Designed by L.A.-based Assembledge, the renovation of Stoneridge transformed this estate house while preserving some of its characteristic features. The brick exterior is a warm, traditional contrast against the contemporary glass and steel. The glass walls are a must for this home, which overlooks the picturesque San Fernando Valley. Interiors are clean and contemporary, with a modern palette of white against natural materials like wood, marble and again, lots of glass. Without a doubt, potatoes are one of my favorites vegetables to grow. It is just hard to beat home grown potatoes fresh from the vegetable garden!

Sometime last year I was browsing the interwebs in search of seed potatoes for my garden. I came across Irish Eyes Garden Seeds website and found an awesome set of plans for building a potato tower. The plans claimed you could grow 100 pounds of potatoes in a four foot square area.

Oh, I have to try this!

Studio Guilherme Torres designed this original pop-up store for an asian car assembler in Londrina, Brazil.

Project description:

The client, a franchisee of an asian car assembler, comissioned a project that would gather the following features: easy assemblage, low costs and high visual impact.

Studio Guilherme Torres proposed an idea that would satisfy the client’s needs of agility adding the sustainability aspect to the project. Making a direct reference to car imports, shipping containers were bought and added to the building’s façade, where the sales and technical assistance will work.

The store was implemented in a very high traffic region, also considered one of the growth vectors of Londrina, Brazil.
